Sel joins the team from Johannesburg, South Africa. He makes some awesome grooves on his bass drums and is the keeper of perfect time. For SangomaBeat he plays his own ethno-classical style.

Rome, an aspiring immigrant from the Far East, moves to the international city of L.A., picks up a guitar as his instrument and meets the amazingly talented world musicians of SangomaBeat. Since then, the pursuit of happiness through music becomes his spiritual path. He is excited to be in the team of a World Music band.

Lucia Drever

vocals

Lucia joins our percussion team from Brazil. She also helps us to get our Brazilian songs right this time. If you feel you have not stretched yourself lately, check out her Yoga Studio Happy Me Yoga in Redondo Beach

A dancer of Mexican-American decent, Mara's movements are influenced by international travel and performances in Central & South America. She thrives on tribal rhythms, especially those fused with Latin and African drums/percussion. Previously a Salsa instructor, she easily transitioned into the multi-cultural world of SangomaBeat.

Marvin Bond

Marvin put down his sax to accompany Mara for some Salsa dancing.

Special thanks go to our guest musicians and past band members: Tim Burke, Steve Burr, Cali Crosalis, Stefan Gluecklich, Mirza, Bosco, Darren Sarkin, Bruce Elkind, Ruri Matthews, Karim Messadek, Jesse Guberman...
